An overseas company already has a proven product or design and has decided to manufacture in China to control cost, scale capacity, or stay close to the supply chain. But they have no team on the ground, no familiarity with suppliers, quoting, or quality systems — and no idea where to start.

- Supplier sourcing and qualification carry real risk: who is dependable, and who can actually deliver to your standard?
- Quoting and manufacturing transfer need local engineering support, or problems surface during ramp-up.
- Schedule, quality, and on-site execution need someone managing them locally — otherwise cross-border communication costs and quality risks pile up.

What GIT Does
GIT acts as the client's local manufacturing team, taking the whole chain from sourcing to shipping: finding and qualifying suppliers in China, obtaining quotes, supporting manufacturing transfer or ramp-up, managing suppliers, schedule, and quality, and providing local engineering and quality communication. Where appropriate, GIT also supports assembly, inspection, production, and shipping.
The client does not need to build their own China team or travel constantly — GIT is their eyes, ears, and hands on the ground.
How Control and Evidence Are Maintained
- Controlled information flow: suppliers receive only the information they need for their part or process; product and client identity and full product context are not unnecessarily exposed.
- Supplier isolation: component suppliers are isolated from one another, so no single supplier automatically gains the full product picture.
- Manufacturing knowledge belongs to the client: product-specific manufacturing knowledge, quality documentation, process records, approved changes, and key decisions are documented and visible to the client under agreed commercial and IP terms.
- Traceable records: IQC/IPQC/OQC inspection records and batch traceability support quality audits and future supplier changes.
