Four Core CapabilitiesFull Spectrum, Concept to Production
Every phase within one system — no handoff chaos, no information loss.
Product Design & Engineering
Canadian R&D team translating concepts into manufacturable designs
From initial concept sketches to full engineering documentation, our Toronto team provides end-to-end product design. Industrial design, mechanical engineering, electronics, embedded systems, and human factors — every discipline collaborates within a unified system, ensuring design decisions carry manufacturing context from day one.
Our methodology centers on Design for Manufacturing (DFM): addressing producibility, assembly, and cost constraints during the design phase to avoid downstream rework and budget overruns.
Capabilities: Industrial Design · Mechanical Engineering · Electronics & Embedded · Human Factors · UX/UI · Systems Architecture
Prototyping & Validation
Iterate fast and catch every issue before production
Prototypes are not just design verification tools — they are decision-making evidence. Our in-house prototyping facilities cover 3D printing, CNC machining, functional prototype builds, and pilot production validation.
Through rapid iteration cycles, we help clients validate critical assumptions before design freeze. From appearance mockups to functional prototypes, from engineering validation to pilot builds, every step has clear pass/fail criteria.
Capabilities: 3D Printing · CNC Precision Machining · Functional Prototypes · EVT/DVT Validation · Pilot Build Management
Medical Device Manufacturing Collaboration
Manufacturing & supply chain collaboration under ISO 13485:2016 / ISO 9001:2015
Medical device manufacturing collaboration is one of our deepest capabilities. Under ISO 13485:2016 (HG25MD0030R0S) and ISO 9001:2015 (40326Q00305R053) certification, we deliver contract manufacturing for regulated medical devices through a supply-chain-collaboration model: the Guangzhou facility handles engineering support, quality control, inspection and testing, assembly, and manufacturing project coordination, while plastics, metal fabrication, welding, and surface finishing are realized through a mature collaborative supply chain.
Our engineering team brings cross-disciplinary expertise supporting ventilator/oxygen system accessories, mobility aid components, and assisted-mobility products.
Capabilities: ISO 13485:2016 / ISO 9001:2015 Certified · IQ/OQ/PQ Validation · Supplier Qualification & Management · Inspection & Testing · Assembly & Traceability
Two-Way Gateway: Global → China · China → Global
Same Inertia. Different entry point.
Global → China
For global clients: manufacture in China, manage suppliers, local execution
Supplier sourcing & qualification · Quoting · Manufacturing transfer or ramp-up · On-site schedule & quality management · Local engineering & quality communication · Assembly, inspection, production & shipping
China → Global
For Chinese manufacturers: connect with global customers
Prepare & communicate with overseas clients · Interpret international expectations, documentation & quality requirements · Support client visits & problem solving · Collaborate through the Inertia/GIT platform
Supply chain management is fundamentally about risk management. As a two-way gateway, GIT acts as a local manufacturing team for overseas clients producing in China — sourcing and qualifying suppliers, quoting, managing suppliers and quality, and serving as your eyes, ears, and hands on the ground. We also help capable Chinese manufacturers bridge the gaps in client expectations, engineering communication, quality systems, regulatory environments, and commercial culture.
Capabilities: Supplier Sourcing & Audit · Procurement Execution · IQC/IPQC/OQC · Logistics & Customs · Dual-Shore Project Management
IP Protection & Controlled Information Flow
Not just an NDA — the controls we actually use
IP protection is a core part of how we work, but we do not promise "absolute protection" — we describe the controls we actually apply:
Need-to-know sharing: Where feasible, we share only the information a supplier needs to complete its part or process, and we avoid unnecessarily exposing the product, client identity, or full product context to subcontractors.
Supplier isolation: We isolate component suppliers from one another so no single supplier automatically gains the full product picture.
Controlled documentation: Client product information, drawings, revisions, and controlled records are handled under Inertia/GIT's document and quality control systems.
Manufacturing knowledge belongs to the client: Clients should not lose control of their product by outsourcing manufacturing. Product-specific manufacturing knowledge, quality documentation, process records, approved changes, and key manufacturing decisions are documented and visible to the client under agreed commercial and IP terms.
